The National Religious Broadcasters 2015 Media Awards have honored the Christian Broadcasting Network with seven programs or series receiving recognition.

NRB named "The 700 Club" as Best Television Talk Show, "700 Club Interactive" as Best Television Teaching Program, and "Jerusalem Dateline" as Best Creative Television Programming.

CBN News Director Rob Allman said he's especially pleased to see recognition for Jerusalem Dateline, a weekly program started three years ago by the CBN News Jerusalem Bureau.

"We're thrilled to be recognized for work on such an important topic, especially in these days," Allman said.

Jerusalem Dateline reports on events in Jerusalem, Israel, and the Middle East from a biblical perspective.

"We try and help our viewers understand the times like the Sons of Issachar did many years ago," CBN News Jerusalem Bureau Chief Chris Mitchell said.

The NRB will present the awards at its 2015 International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Feb. 23-26.

The NRB is a non-partisan, international association of Christian communicators whose member organizations represent millions of listeners, viewers and readers.
