Jindal Defends 'Marriage and Conscience' Order

Louisana Gov. Bobby Jindal is defending his executive order protecting people who oppose same-sex marriage for religious reasons.

The Marriage and Conscience order forbids state agencies from discriminating against someone for acting on their beliefs that gay marriage is wrong.

The American Civil Liberties Union is challenging the order in a state district court.

Jindal, who is seeking the Republican nomination for president, has asked the judge to dismiss the lawsuit on the grounds that gay rights advocates can't prove the executive order causes them harm.
