Just moments after Mr. Obama took the oath of office, the White House Web site was updated with the new presiden'ts policy positions.

The civil rights page includes a section for the gay community and it involves repealing the defense of marriage act.

It also opposes a constitutional amendment to define marriage as between one man and one woman.

Repealing the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy is also included.

Lastly, the new policy positions lists expanding adoption rights for gay couples.

Bishop Harry Jackson of the High Impact Leadership Coalition offered insight on the evangelical community's reaction.
