Hollywood is taking a closer look at Christianity in a new documentary featuring Hillsong United, the world's most successful Christian worship band.

The film, produced by Warner Brothers and Alcon Entertainment, will document the group's 30-year journey from a youth group band at Hillsong Church in Australia to a worldwide sensation.

The group, which has sold 16 million albums, is know for popular worship songs like "Mighty to Save," "Hosanna," and "From the Inside Out."

Band member Joel Houston said the film is not about drawing attention to the group.

"It's our hope that by sharing an up-close and unvarnished look inside our music and lives, we can shatter pre-conceived notions of what it means to follow Jesus in today's modern world," he said.

"Hillsong -- Let Hope Arise," being filmed on five continents, is slated for release in early April 2015.
