Try to imagine going to heaven and then coming back to earth. It's impossible for most people to do, but not for Don Piper.

That's because 25 years ago, Piper was killed in a terrible car accident. After paramedics tried to revive his mangled body, he was declared dead.

For 90 minutes, Piper's earthly body lay lifeless, covered under a tarp, until a pastor came up and prayed for him.

Piper said that during those 90 minutes, he saw things most of us can only dream about, experiencing love, joy, and life like he'd never known before.

He wrote about what happened to him in a best-selling book called 90 Minutes in Heaven which has now been turned into a movie.

CBN News spoke with Don Piper and his wife Eva for more on their remarkable story, and the new movie about it. Click play to see that interview.

As Piper says, "90 Minutes in Heaven" offers viewers a journey of hope and encouragement about the afterlife. It hits theaters everywhere on Sept. 11.
