Families looking to enjoy a movie together at the theater will find a safe and fun option in "Paddington," opening in theaters across the nation Friday.

Starring Nicole Kidman, Ben Whishaw and Hugh Bonneville, "Paddington" is the film adaption of the classic tale of the bear sent to London by his aunt and all the mischief he gets into.

But the story is about more than mischief, it's about the love of a family.

"The nanny, Mrs. Bird, tells a reluctant Mr. Brown, 'This family needs that wee bear every bit as much as he needs you,' Bob Hoose, a film critic for Plugged In Online, wrote.

"And Mr. Brown eventually comes to agree," he continued. "He steps forward to defend Paddington, declaring, 'We love Paddington. And that makes him family.'''
