Another massive winter storm is moving across the U.S. Wednesday. At least 30 states are under winter weather alerts from Utah to Maine.

Parts of the Midwest are already experiencing icy conditions, leaving the roads littered with wreckage.

On Interstate 94 in Minnesota, more than two dozen crashes kept traffic backed up for hours.

"I just completely turned all the way around and slid off the road," one driver said. "How scary is that? I mean, I'm just happy there weren't any cars coming."

On Wednesday, the storm moves east. New York City is expected to get 6-8 inches of snow and hard-hit Boston could break its all-time record of 107.6 inches set in 1995-1996.

This winter, over 310,000 miles of Boston streets have already been plowed.

"I don't care what the record is for the snowiest winter of all time here is in Boston. This is ridiculous. We're going out of our mind," one Boston resident said.
