Spring Twisters Wreak Havoc on Heartland

Right on the heels of a record brutal winter, tornadoes are wreaking havoc in America's heartland.

A number of twisters as well as hail caused caused death and extensive damage from Texas to Indiana.

Moore, Oklahoma, has been hit by its third tornado in 16 years.

Sixty people were trapped in an Oklahoma gymnasium and were later rescued. Also, the driver of a pickup truck that overturned was trapped, hanging upside down, but later was discovered and released.

Other victims described finding parts of their homes, such as roofs, in neighbors' yards. Some people recall roofs falling in on top of them.

Thousands of people lost power in the wake of the storm system.
