America's veterans deserve recognition. Unfortunately, it's not always easy to show them the appreciation they deserve when they're out of uniform.

Because of this, retail giant, Walmart, launched the Green Light a Vet Campaign. It's aim is to show gratitude for the men and women who have worn the a United States military uniform and the famlies who have supported them, by establishing a visible symbol of the nations support.

Walmart is encouraging everyone to swap out a regular light bulb with a green tinted one, this Veterans Day, in a visible location on your porch, in your home or even at your office. They then ask that you share your support by taking a picture of your green light and posting it online using the hashtag #greenlightavet.

At this point nearly 3 million people have pledged their support.
