Moscow is threatening to soften its stance in nuclear talks with Iran.
Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister said the country might have to "raise the stakes" in response to actions by the United States and European Union.
It's the latest threat of retaliation for sanctions imposed against Russian officials over the Ukraine crisis.
Russia and the U.S. are part of an international coalition negotiating with Iran over its nuclear program.
