President Barack Obama has reportedly written a 'secret letter' to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei describing common interests in the battle against ISIS terrorists and urging him to reach an agreement on its nuclear program.

Both the U.S. and Iran are involved in battles against the Islamic State fighters, but the Obama administration has repeatedly insisted it is not and will not coordinate its military actions with Iran.

The Wall Street Journal reports it's at least the fourth time the president has written to the Iranian leader.

According to the Journal, the White House refused to comment on the president's "private correspondence." Neither did the administration tell its Middle East allies about the president's latest letter, causing concern that the Obama administration intends to soften its demands over Iran's nuclear program.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly warned of Iranian nuclear weapons aspirations and what that will mean not only to Israel, but to the rest of the world as well.
