Nigeria is postponing it's presidential election as violence caused by radical Islamic groups like Boko Haram continues to sweep the nation.

The election was to set to happen Feb. 14, but Nigeria's electoral commission said they will be pushed back to March 28 because voter safety cannot be guaranteed.

In the past 10 days, an offensive from Chad and Nigeria has forced the Boko Haram from a dozen towns and villages.

More military strikes are planned.
