The U.S. Department of Defense has released five Yemeni terror suspects from Guantanamo Bay.

They were captured more than 12 years ago in Pakistan and detained as suspected al Qaeda fighters.

One suspect, Akhmed Abdul Qadir, has been transferred to Estonia. The other four -- Al Khadr Abdallah Muhammad Al Yafi, Fadel Hussein Saleh Hentif, Abd Al-Rahman Abdullah Au Shabati, and Mohammed Ahmed Salam -- were sent to Oman.

This marks the first time either country has agreed to accept Guantanamo prisoners.

This latest release brings the number of detainees at Guantanamo down to 122.
