The Problem: Modern-Day Slavery

Human trafficking is a worldwide epidemic. Experts estimate there are 27 million victims; their average age is only 12 years old. It is also estimated that more people, especially children, are enslaved today than at any other time in history. Modern-day slavery is fueled by a variety of circumstances: poverty, war, natural disasters, abductions, immigrant labor, and false adoptions.

What We Do

CBN and its partners are uniquely positioned to help rescue women and children from these predators by easing the burden of poverty. CBN's Orphan's Promise and partnerships with other worldwide organizations meet the needs of vulnerable and at-risk women and children, taking them from unsafe, unstable situations to places of safety that provide food, shelter, education, medical care, life-skills training, and love.

Be Part of the Answer

Your gift to CBN is helping to rescue women and children caught in the terrible trap of human trafficking.
