CBN.com —As twins, Yah Yue and Yah Fe share everything – from the way they look to their toys.

“If Yah Yue wants one of my toys,” her sister Yah Fe shares, “I always give it to her, because I love my sister.”

Yah Yue smiles and says, “Yah Fe is my friend forever!”

They’ve both had heart complications, too.  Doctors found a hole in Yah Yue’s heart when she was one, but it naturally closed up by the time she was five.  That’s when Mr. and Mrs. Lee found out that Yah Fe had two holes in her heart.

Mrs. Lee remembers, “It hit me like a huge rock!  She didn’t look or act sick like her sister had been, so I assumed she was fine and never guessed that she had heart trouble, too.”  ”I felt so bad for Yah Fe,” Mr. Lee adds.  “But I had to be strong because my daughter was counting on me.”

The Lees knew Yah Fe needed heart surgery to survive.  But as hard as Mr. Lee works in a furniture factory, he only makes $327 a month.  “We still decided to save every penny to get our daughter surgery,” Mr. Lee says.  “We never even went out to eat.”

As time went on, Mr. and Mrs. Lee started worrying more about their daughter’s future.  “I was worried that she would faint from her heart condition,” Mrs. Lee shares.  Mr. Lee adds, “The doctor told me we would be lucky if Yah Fe lived to be twenty without surgery.”

Then, the couple heard that CBN was coming to their village.  Mr. Lee remembers, “CBN called me and said they had arranged for an expert to take care of my daughter.  I was so happy.  It was like I was a bird released from a cage!”

The Lees breathed a sigh of relief when Yah Fe came out of a very successful surgery.  Yah Yue couldn’t stop hugging her twin sister.  “I was so happy when Yah Fe came back from the hospital,” she says.  “And my parents were too! Now we can ride bikes and play together!”

“Thank you CBN,” Mrs. Lee says with sincerity. “You have saved my daughter’s life.
And you have changed me from a worrying mother into a happy mom.”

Mr. Lee concludes,   “I hope that CBN will be around a long time so that you can help more and more children like Yah Fe to have a better life!”
