India - Operation Blessing India has partnered with Smile Foundation to carry out the Smile-on-Wheels outreach in Delhi and Hyderabad. A medical van equipped with doctors and supporting staff offers services in urban slums and remote rural areas which are under-served in medical facilities. The mobile hospital provides a comprehensive range of health care some of which includes common ailments, ante and postnatal services, minor surgery, treatment of malnutrition cases, and referrals for serious patients requiring hospitalization. With a special focus on women and children’s health, Smile-on-Wheels also aims to spread awareness and knowledge about preventive measures and health and hygiene education.

West Africa: Through our CBN WorldReach centers during the month, 20,292 people heard the gospel in 33 outreaches with 1,723 praying to receive Jesus as their Savior.
Our prayer center in Nigeria responded to 3,274 calls, received 316 Emails, 2,793 text messages, and 56 letters. As a result, 25 people prayed to accept Christ.
Fresh water wells were drilled by CBN staff in 19 rural communities in Ghana benefiting 16,050 people.
South Africa: At our video evangelism ministry centers during the month, 12,308 decisions for Jesus were made through 234 events.
The veggie-tunnel agriculture projects in Cape Town are producing a good harvest of spinach that feeds school children and senior citizens.
A new station in Zambia, CBC Television, is now airing The 700 Club and Turning Point.
French Africa: Another anti-malaria mosquito net campaign was launched in Senegal distributing 2,278 nets that benefitted children and pregnant women.
A vacation camp was held in Cameroon attended by 250 youth. During this time, 145 young people surrendered their lives to Jesus.

Germany: There were 1,164 phone calls, 14 Emails and 16 letters to our prayer center during the month that resulted in 6 salvations.
Italy: WorldReach Italy has signed an agreement to broadcast 13 episodes of the Italian 700 Club (Dritto al Cuore) on a network of 65 local and regional TV stations throughout the country starting this month. This includes terrestrial, cable, and satellite channels carried as far away as Canada, USA, and South America.
Sweden: We renewed the contract with Kanal 10 for airing The 700 Club.
Albania: Koha TV has committed to airing The 700 Club all year around for free in exchange for quality CBN programming.

3,069 villagers were given free medical checkups and treatment in western and central China.
We completed 3 cleft lip/palate surgeries, 18 heart surgeries, 1 eye surgery, and 2 spinal surgeries. Also, 4 hard-of-hearing children were provided with hearing aids and one year of speech rehabilitation.

62,310 people viewed the Jesus film in 166 showings, and 620 accepted the invitation to receive Jesus as their Savior.
21,700 benefited from 76 fresh water bore wells drilled by OB. As a result, 103 people dedicated their lives to God.
32,687 people received medical care through 136 outreaches; 119 cataract surgeries were completed, and 1,929 received eye glasses. 1,202 HIV patients were provided medicine, food supplements, and counseling. During these outreaches, 777 people made the decision to follow Christ.

During the month, there were 904 phone calls from viewers of Solusi SCTA, and 111 received salvation. 1,979 calls were from viewers of Solusi Life, and 273 received salvation. 381 calls were from viewers of Obat Malam, and 64 received salvation.
Medical services were provided to 16,890 patients through 50 missions; 157 cataract surgeries were performed, and 16 cleft lip/palate procedures were completed. 97 people prayed to accept Jesus during the outreaches.

Bolivia: Vida Dura continues to broadcast right before the highly watched midday news on Cadena A. The Red Nacional network airs a promotional spot five times per day to encourage people to view the show and contact the prayer counseling center.
Guatemala: In Vuelta Grande, 40 women were taught how to knit baby sweaters and bake bread. This income-producing project helps them to end the cycle of poverty in their families.
Ecuador: The main hospital in Quevedo receives weekly visits from CBN staff members who share the Bible and distribute literature. They have been granted permission to evangelize and approximately nine people per week are accepting the Lord. CBN is following up with these new Christians and referring them to local churches.
Mexico: We have partnered with Road Home Foundation to work with 19 young women who have been rescued from human trafficking. They are participating in a micro enterprise project that is teaching them to bake.
Peru: A medical outreach was held for the Bora tribe of Iquitos where 1,676 children were treated and received anti-parasite meds. Also, 300 were given clothes, and 589 had their hair washed and disinfected.

Latin America Center
Praise Reports
Our prayer center handled 7,873 calls, 55,857 text messages, and 1,828 Emails/letters. 4,728 people responded to the gospel message; and 1,012 new believers were referred to local churches. We trained 39 pastors and 49 lay leaders on the basics of follow-up and discipleship to ensure proper spiritual nurturing of new believers.
Our Vacation Bible Schools were attended by 12,372 and kids camp attendees were 2,247. From these outreaches, 8,382 children received Jesus into their heart.
Through our medical missions there were 5,628 beneficiaries and 1,144 salvations. In our hunger relief projects, 2,119 meals were served to children and 36 accepted Christ.

“You helped me realize the importance of education. It is not too late to make up for the years I wasted.” Roman, 43 years old at Paranaque City jail where the Mobile Out-of-School Training program was held for 67 inmates. They were provided livelihood skills in dressmaking, cell phone repair, and refrigeration and air-conditioning repair.

Orphan’s Promise provided 88 scholarships for poor Burmese children. Orphans and needy children in Burma received 10,800 pounds of rice. Five orphanages were given solar panel sets allowing the children to swap their dim candles for lighting so they can complete their homework at night.

Pray about the funding at four Child Development Centers in Thailand where child care, education, and meals are being provided for the poorest families affected by the tsunami in December 2004.
