The CBN WorldReach Nigeria office is located in the city of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital. It serves as CBN’s West African English language headquarters. CBN Nigeria has four centers located in Oshogbo (Osun state), Sokoto (Sokoto state), Jos (Plateau state) and Kaduna (Kaduna state). The Nigeria office also oversees CBN WorldReach offices in Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.
Programs aired in the region include
The 700 Club, One Cubed, Turning Point, Another Life, Flying House, Superbook, and Living the Life. CBN WorldReach also produces 700 Club Nigeria, an adaptation of The 700 Club with local content and flavor. A regional version of the Flying House animation series for children has been produced. An estimated 30 plus million people watch CBN’s programs in the region every week on national television and more than 34 regional stations.
To further serve production needs in Africa,
a new studio and office complex is scheduled to be built in the next two years. Land has been made available by the Nigerian government and fundraising has begun for the estimated $1.8 million needed for the building project.
In addition to television broadcasts, CBN WorldReach works in partnership with Operation Blessing to alleviate suffering in the region through free medical clinics, cleft lip/palate surgeries, women empowerment programs, and projects for HIV/AIDS orphans.
