Superbook Premieres in Mandarin Chinese

CBN.com —The red robot "Gizmo" from Superbook now speaks Mandarin-- especially for the children of China. CBN aired "He is Risen" on the internet in China this Easter. We set up a special screening for Rong Mei and her friends to find out what they thought of the animation.
"I could hardly wait to see the new Superbook," she says with a smile. "I knew it would be full of nice surprises!"
Da Rui loved the opening song and shares, "I especially like the part where Gizmo travels through space in the time tunnel."
Jie Xin paid close attention the details of the animation. She points out, "The characters' faces and emotions look so real. And the clothing looks just like it is from ancient Israel. You can even see the folds on the clothes!"
The children were glued to the screen, especially during the crucifixion scene. Mr. Jin was at the screening and noticed, "I could tell that they were really concentrating on what they were watching. Some of the kids were even shaking when they saw Jesus's hands nailed to the cross."
No one left without some kind of lesson from the show.
"I learned from Chris that I should listen to my mom and be obedient to my parents, to my teachers, and to God," says Da Rui.
Ze Kun shares, "I will never forget today! I learned that Jesus loves me and will always be with me."
Rong Mei adds, "After seeing 'He is Risen,' I learned that He had to die so that He could rise again! And there is nothing more powerful than that!"
These children can hardly wait for more Superbook episodes to be translated into Mandarin.
Mr. Jin says, "It would be great for the kids to see more so they can learn the whole Bible."
"I want all of my friends to see Superbook," shares Ze Kun. "Because it will help them put their trust in the Lord."
Jie Xin contributes, "I believe that Superbook is one of God's plans to let kids all over the world know Him."
Rong Mei concludes with sincerity, "If you don't have much to give, then just give a little. But please give as much as you can for Superbook because we are waiting to see more!!!
