The Global Day of Prayer took place around the world on June 4 with prayer beginning as the sun rose in the east until the sun set in the west. Large-scale stadium events were planned in more than 150 nations. In Dallas, the event was celebrated at Reunion Arena and hosted by Dr. Bob Bakke, Pastor Jack Graham, Bishop T.D. Jakes and evangelist Luis Palau.

Taiwan: Seeking Unity – Christians in 11 cities asked God to bless their nation, as well as mainland China and the Christians living there.
Hong Kong: Cry for Revival – Representatives from Hong Kong’s political, business, and church communities sought God’s blessings.
Calgary: Celebrating Faith – Calgarians at the Saddledome gave thanks to God for His blessings.
Beginning June 5 and continuing for 90 days, Dallas-area churches will partner with corporations, educational institutions, government agencies, and faith-based organizations to bless the city of Dallas.
