Winning the Weight Loss Battle

I have to say that success is sweet when it comes to this weight loss battle.

This morning I noticed my clothes fitting better and I love that feeling. And although the 10 pound weight loss was slow in coming I’m thrilled that the scales have moved that much in the past 7 weeks. Experts say that rate of 1-2 pounds a weeks is just about perfect.

I do have to confess though, that I wish the process was a bit more speedy. Patience and perseverance have never been my personal strengths. But I think I’m beginning to catch on to the importance of those qualities when it comes to losing weight.

Galations 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

I hope that scripture will provide us all with some encouragement when the scales seems stuck and that piece of chocolate cake looks so good!

I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July. Log on to our discussion board to tell us how you're doing and support other Christians in their "Fight to Be Fit."
